
Dr. Danielle Kozanno earned her doctorate from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, and has trained in university counseling centers, community clinics, and private practice settings. She provides individual psychotherapy to adults and young adults.
Dr. Kozanno's areas of expertise include anxiety and mood disorders, sport and performance psychology, identity development, and self-esteem concerns. She also has a keen interest in working with clients who may be experiencing acculturation difficulties, relationship distress, challenges in higher education, and those in the LGBTQ+ community. She uses an integrative approach that incorporates psychodynamic, insight-oriented, and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic perspectives while acknowledging multifaceted and intersecting identities.
Dr. Kozanno received her B.A. in anthropology from Yale University, where she was a two-sport athlete in both ice hockey and softball.
